It’s a hot, dry fall in So Cal and my skin is parched. Especially my lips, which have super dry lately. Dry lips are a sign of dehydration, so I’ve been focused on drinking more water to keep myself moisturized from within. For my exterior, this head to toe homemade body scrub is perfect for exfoliation and revealing smoother skin.
I’ve purchased various brands of body scrubs here and there, but it is super fun, easy, and inexpensive to make it myself.
I whipped this particular scrub with Dr. Teal’s pink Himalayan sea salt, matcha green tea powder, and sweet almond oil. Dr. Teal’s salts are perfect for bath soaks and body scrubs. They smell amazing and are super effective at encouraging cell turnover.
