As Labor Day weekend is upon us, how long do you wait before you begin transitioning summer clothes into fall? Do you wait until Autumn Equinox until you start dressing for fall? As soon as Virgo season begins I’m ready to start wearing the deep, rich hues of the season. I’m more comfortable in dark colors, long sleeves, jackets, and boots. I guess fashion is my armor in this cruel, cold world of ours. I’m also a clumsy person who is prone to stains and messes; dark clothing tends to hide this character flaw of mine #ownit.
Transitioning Summer Clothes into Fall
It’s still summer though, and in LA, it’s always summer so I can’t venture too far off into the deep end of fall’s chunky sweaters and boots. It’s just #toosoon. We’re still wearing sandals and drinking margaritas. Starbucks only just re-released pumpkin spice lattes like a week ago, after all (iced, not hot, thank you very much.) I have to keep my love of darker hues to lightweight materials and layers like a light cardigan, jacket, or hoodie. That way I’m covered on cool mornings, nights, and under the draft of my office’s air conditioning.
