My latest obsession is researching ways to incorporate green tea leaves into my DIY beauty routine. Green tea leaves are excellent at exfoliating and dislodging pollutants from the skin. Combined with the moisturizing, anti-inflammatory benefits of honey and the antibacterial, calming benefits of rose water, green tea leaves are an easy, affordable, and effective DIY blackhead remover.
Things You Need:
- Honey – 1 tablespoon
- Rosewater – 1 tablespoon
- 1 Green Tea bag (unbrewed)
- Small bowl
- Old makeup brush (optional)
How to Use:
Tear open the green tea bag. In a small bowl, mix the leaves with 1 tablespoon each of honey and rose water to form a paste. Add more honey and rosewater to dilute if needed.
Using an old makeup brush or fingers, apply the mixture to your face. Let sit for 15 minutes. Remove with warm water.
