I was excited to review It’s It ice cream treats after seeing that my local Ralph’s starting carrying them. They are a regional food only available in certain markets, my Northern California born boyfriend put me up on them and I’ve been wanting to try them ever since. Is it strange to be so excited to try a particular food? I just think the idea of ice cream sandwiched between two oatmeal cookies, and then dipped in chocolate are what good things are made of.
Review of it’s it ice cream treats:
The box contains 3 sandwiches…
See the oatmeal cookie peeking through that chocolate coating? The vanilla ice cream is bulging out of the cookies.
The brown sugar flavor in the cookie is prominent and tastes amazing on its own. The ice cream and chocolate shell bear a Klondike bar flavor, but tastier when combined with the oatmeal cookie layer.
It’s-It ice cream sandwiches are available at most major grocers in the US; I found them in the frozen food aisle at my local Ralph’s (Los Angeles for $3.49. I can’t wait until they start selling other flavors to my market, in the meantime, I might hit up their online ordering if the cravings get too intense. 😋
