7 and 7 Drink Recipe (single serving)

7 and 7 drink recipe

Funny thing. In my 15+ years of drinking, I’ve never had a 7 and 7. My default cocktail is a highball of Jack Daniels or Jameson with Ginger Ale. So when Honey Bear brought a bottle of Seagram’s 7 Whiskey and 7-Up to my place last weekend, I wasn’t surprised that I would enjoy it. This is a simple 7 and 7 drink recipe made slightly tart with a twist of lime and garnished with a sprig of mint. Perfect for weekend day drinking, lounging around my apartment pretending to be a woman of leisure.

6 oz 7-up lemon lime soda

Limes (optional)

Sprig of mint (optional)

Pour Whiskey into cocktail glass filled with ice. Top with 7-up, fresh squeezed lime juice, and sprig of mint. Enjoy.

  1. Thanks for sharing this! I’m going to build my own mini bar in my own apartment and I’ve been searching for new drinks that I haven’t tried to add to my bar. I will give this a try! 🙂
