My summer makeup must haves are really products that I use year round. But when temperatures climb, I use them in a different way. For example, I’m using tinted moisturizer more often, especially now that my skin is improving. I still use foundation, but not as much as I used to. The foundation is a great base to mix into the tinted moisturizer, warming up the color and providing extra coverage. I cover my blemishes with L.A. Girl liquid concealer, setting it all into place with Mac’s skin mineralize powder.
Anastasia Beverly Hills has been my eyebrow staple for the past two years. It creates long-lasting, natural looking brows. To make them last even longer, I deepen my brows with L’Oreal’s Brow Pencil. It’s a quite effective drugstore alternative to department store brow pencils.
These products are the base of my everyday summer makeup looks. I don’t wear bronzers or highlighters, instead, I tend to go for the “no-makeup, makeup” look. I don’t wear lipstick very often either, but if sometimes I feel inspired to wear red or pink matte lips, like Mac’s Be Silly. Read on to get a glimpse of my summer makeup must haves…
